SailGP is a whole new way to think about racing.
The boats are faster, the athletes can let loose, and fans can get closer to the action than ever. But in New Zealand, professional sail racing still doesn’t feel inclusive to the average sports fan.
The race was coming to Christchurch for Season 4.
We were tasked with launching SailGP Season 4 in New Zealand by working alongside the global team to create localised messaging and content. Shots were chosen to feel close; one billboard even featured the boat smashing the screen. Retouching added plenty of splash, with punchy headlines to add to the hype.
On social, our Top 10 Moment countdown featured celebrities, influencers, and other sportspeople, giving a different perspective to epic moments from past SailGPs.
