Qantas wanted to reinvigorate their brand in the New Zealand market. Having not had a brand campaign here for seven years, they needed something that would emotionally resonate here.
Kiwis and Aussies may be rivals on the sports field, but when we travel, we’re arm in arm. So, we brought that spirit – The Spirit of Us – to life in a story for TV, cinema, and social.
The story developed from a casting call of real Aussies and Kiwis, all of whom met overseas. The story of the chosen couple immediately resonated with Kiwis, testing in the top 94% of ads in System One.
