Titan Marine Engineering—Rebrand and Website Redesign
Engineering a new brand for Titan Marine.
In an unassuming warehouse on the waterfront of Wynyard Quarter, you’ll find a world-class shipyard that repairs and refits vessels from all around the Pacific. They’re called Titan Marine.
Not only are they renowned for their innovative approaches to engineering, but their apprentice programme also produces some of the most in-demand marine engineers in the world.
Our task? To lift their design so it matches their level of ambition. And celebrate the skilled engineers and apprentices who work there.
The Propeller
We created a new logo centred around the boat propeller.
Its radial movement represents momentum and teamwork, while its
precise form reflects Titan’s commitment to meticulous detail.
While the wordmark, set in a bold sans-serif with clean lines and
wide proportions, evokes trustworthiness and stability.
Photography
It’s just a workspace for the Titan Marine crew, but when seen through the keen eye of a photographer, it’s brimming with innovation, engineering, and clever people. We worked with photographer Devan Narsai to capture Titan Marine’s workshops and people, celebrating the talent they have.
