New Zealand Cricket—Summer Tour / King Kapisi
Turning the volume up on New Zealand Cricket.
We were tasked with broadening interest in the India, England, and Bangladesh summer cricket tours to reach a wider audience.
New Zealand’s second-favourite cricket team is India, and vice versa; that mutual respect set the stage for the entire season. So we worked with King Kapisi and Indian musicians to remix his classic Kiwi song, Screems From da Old Plantation, into a cross-cultural collab anthem
We promoted it across outdoor, social, and radio. Filmed a music video. Worked with influencers to create a dance trend on TikTok. While King provided the Innings break entertainment at the games.
